La Française appoints Philippe Verdier as Secretary General

LA FRANÇAISE APPOINTS PHILIPPE VERDIER AS SECRETARY GENERAL

Paris, May 28, 2025: La Française, the multi-specialist asset management division of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe VERDIER as Secretary General of the La Française group. He succeeds Pascale Auclair in this role. This new position complements his current responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer and member of the executive board of Groupe La Française.

As part of this appointment, the organization of the Secretariat General and the finance department has been streamlined into six main divisions:

• Listed assets– Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Control;

• Unlisted assets – Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Control;

• Legal, Compliance of Distribution activities & Cross-functional;

• Risk Management & Operational Risks;

• Finance;

• Transformation Projects and Coordination.

Philippe Verdier has thirty-five years of experience in the finance industry. He began his career in 1989 with Compagnie de Suez before joining Banque Indosuez Luxembourg in 1994, where he was Chief Financial Officer. Philippe became Head of the department of Finance and Organisation at Fastnet in 1997, then Product Development Director of Crédit Agricole Investor Services in 2002. He then took on the position of Director of Organisation of KBL European Private Bankers in 2004. In 2009, he joined La Française AM Private Bank & La Française AM International as Chief Executive Officer, before being named Country Head-Luxembourg of La Française in 2014. Philippe Verdier was appointed Chief Financial & Project Transformation Officer of the group in 2016.

Philippe holds a master’s degree in Economics and Finance from Paris Dauphine University and a postgraduate degree in International Economic Relations from Institut d’études politiques (Sciences Po).
