Paul Gurzal, Co Head of Fixed Income, responsible for specialized bonds and Head of Quantitative Investment at Crédit Mutuel Asset Management. Paul has 23 years of experience in the asset management sector. After obtaining a degree in finance (DEA) from the Université de Paris Dauphine, Paul began his career with AXA IM France in 2001 as a financial analyst. In 2003, he joined IXIS AM as a fixed income assistant manager. He then evolved as a fixed income manager with Natixis AM and remained with the company from 2004 to 2007. He joined La Française des Placements in 2008 as a bond manager andfollowing the merger of LFP and UFG, was promoted successively to co-Head of Credit of La Française AM in 2010, Head of Credit in 2013, Head of Fixed Income in 2022 and ultimately CIO in 2023. Paul Gurzal has held his current position since the merger of La Française AM with Crédit Mutuel Asset Management in 2024.
