François Rimeu is Crédit Mutuel Asset Management's senior strategist, responsible for the asset manager’s global macroeconomic & financial analyses and outlooks. François defines the central macroeconomic scenario, critical to the asset allocation process. As an experienced fund manager for twenty-two years, François has developed an expertise in Forex and central bank monetary policy as well as cross asset allocation. He began his career in 2001 with Alteram as an analyst, specialized in Long/Short strategies and CTAs before being promoted to Fund Manager - Multi-manager hedge funds in 2005 and ultimately Head of Fund Management in 2007. In 2011 and following structural changes within La Française group, François was named Co-Head of Cross Asset for La Française AM, responsible namely for asset allocation. François was appointed Senior Strategist in 2019.

François holds a Master of Finance from the University of Ottawa and a doctorate degree in Finance from the University of Lille. François is a CAIA Charter holder.
