Dr Denisa Čumova, Head of Portfolio Management and Quantitative Research at La Française SAM, has twenty years of experience in portfolio management. She began her career with Berenberg as an equity and multi-asset portfolio manager. In 2008, she was promoted to Head of Total Return Management, in charge of absolute return and volatility strategies. In 2017, Dr Čumova was named Head of Quantitative Research for Berenberg Bank Wealth & Asset Management, where she was responsible for the development of systematic investment and risk management strategies. Denisa joined La Française SAM as Head of Portfolio Management and Quantitative Research in 2022. She holds a Doctorate degree in Economics, Finance and Asset Management from the Chemnitz University of Technology and earned the Professional Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the Stanford University.
