La Française Lux- Inflection Point Zero Carbon registered for distribution in Switzerland

La Française is gaining traction in the Swiss market and has recently registered for distribution an innovative, climate-themed global equities fund, La Française Lux-Inflection Point Zero Carbon. The fund is a long only Luxembourg SICAV sub-fund, with total assets under management in excess of €140 million (07/2017).

Philippe Lecomte, CEO of La Française AM International commented, “The Zero Carbon fund is a step forward to environmental democracy. It’s a unique opportunity for investors to actively participate in the development of a sustainable world.“ Bénédict Fatio, Country Head of Swizterland, Gonet La Française Advisors added, “With all the challenges facing investors when it comes to sustainability, we are very pleased to be able to provide the Swiss market, which has been a pioneer on this topic for years, with an very innovative approach to SAI.”

The fundamental objective of the La Française Lux- Inflection Point Zero Carbon fund, beyond returning a competitive, long-term, risk adjusted rate of return above its benchmark MSCI AC World Index*, is to:

  • Provide a mainstream, institutional quality solution that allows asset owners exposure to a portfolio that, while holding best-in-class fossil fuel-based companies also includes so-called “transitioning companies”, low carbon solution providers and innovative, breakthrough carbon reduction technologies and solutions;
  • Seek a Carbon Zero or neutral carbon emissions footprint for investors.

La Française’s CIO of Equities, Laurent Jacquier-Laforge added: “La Française Lux-Inflection Point Zero Carbon is a perfect illustration of the power of fusing specialized, in-depth climate research, provided by our partner firm Inflection Point Capital Management, with a disciplined stock-picking, portfolio construction, and risk control system.”
