After graduating from the ESSEC business school in Paris in 1988 with a specialisation in Finance and Law, Patrice Genre, President at La Française Real Estate Partners, launched his career as Financial Attaché for the French Embassy in Japan, where he remained until 1992, then he joined the Suez-Lyonnaise des Eaux Group as Head of International Real Estate Investments, a position he held for four years. In 1996, he signed on with Goldman Sachs in Paris, first as Head of Acquisitions, then Head of Debt Management and finally Head of Portfolio Management. In June 1999, Patrice Genre founded DTZ Asset Management, in partnership with DTZ, where he served as Chief Executive Officer until 2013, prior to joining La Française Real Estate Partners.
